Home Fueling Appliance

The Chicken or the Egg?

There are very few commercial Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) filling stations in the U.S. Because there are few places to fuel a CNG vehicle automobile companies build few cars! Using the same reasoning, because there are few CNG vehicles there has been little investment in CNG filling stations.

What is the answer?

If you have Natural Gas service in your home, the answer is to purchase The Roadster™ for $19,900 and receive a free Home Fueling Appliance that lets you fuel you Roadster right in your own garage, using inexpensive American produced Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). You can establish your ability to buy by Reserving a Roadster now.

The Home Fueling Appliance is one product that is a result of the technology contained in the hydraulic compression patent. This appliance is installed in the garage of the owner and is used to compress up to 30 gallons of compressed natural gas per day for use in The American Roadster™ CNG. Since The American Roadster™'s CNG tank holds about 10 gallons equivalent of fuel, The American Roadster™ CNG will be able to be refueled daily if desired so as to never get close to low on fuel, and a visit to a commercial station will never be necessary. The compressor can be installed on the existing natural gas line, but if all gas companies follow the lead of Southern California Gas Company, there will be a second meter installed in the home which will provide the gas exclusively to the compressor at a discounted rate currently rated at $0.62 per equivalent gallon (compared to $3.45 per gallon for gasoline).
